Clark County Temporary Art Program 2026 - Geometry and Space

Taking up SpaceIt’s a simple idea that draws on identity and promotes a sense of belonging in our public spaces. The sculptures are near life sized 3D composites made using photography and digital editing. Some facets of the sculptures look real and lifelike while others are progressively pixelated to give the impression that the individual people are appearing and disappearing in the way they occupy space. The sculpture questions the right we have to take up space in public spaces and raises questions about identity, and what makes us real and human, in a technology and data driven world.
